PLC Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PLC/SCADA Engineer to join our company Three Lions Group . As a PLC/SCADA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Responsibilities:

• PLC and SCADA System Design:

• Develop and design programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to meet project requirements.

Design and implement supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems for real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes.

• Programming and Configuration:

• Programming of PLC's, HMI and Troubleshooting

Write, test, and debug PLC code to ensure proper functionality and performance.

• Configure and program SCADA software to visualize and control industrial processes.

Developing screen in SCADA and HMI

• Erection and site communication of PLC panel SCADA system based automation project.

SERVO and VFD communication and trouble shooting

• ModBus, Modbus/TCP IP,Ethernet IP, Profibus communication with PLCs HMI SCADA

• System Integration:

• Integrate PLCs and SCADA systems with other industrial automation components, such as sensors, actuators, and communication networks.

Handled FAT (Factory Acceptance Test ) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) with customers

• Knowledge in panel wiring (power & control)

• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with PLCs and SCADA systems.
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of automation systems.

• Documentation:Create comprehensive documentation for PLC and SCADA systems, including specifications, user manuals, and technical drawings.

Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project implementation.

• Testing and Validation:Conduct thorough testing and validation of PLC and SCADA systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Training and Support:Provide training and support to end-users and maintenance teams on the operation and troubleshooting of PLC and SCADA systems.

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in PLC and SCADA system design, programming, and implementation.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or Function Block Diagrams (FBD).

Familiarity with a variety of PLC and SCADA platforms and hardware.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).

Siemens HMI and Redlion HMI

• Logo, tia portal, simatic manager, conveylinx, ETRM,Parker,Auto CAD, WinCCExperience with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) design.

Familiarity with cybersecurity practices in industrial automation.

• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
