Responsibilities:
- Develop and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) using ladder logic to control manufacturing automation systems.
- Complete detailed programming of PLCs, including ladder logic, schematics, and programming software.
- Coordinate PLC programming activities with manufacturing engineers, project managers, and supervisory personnel.
- Troubleshoot and modify PLC programs to interface with existing or new systems, ensuring system functionality.
- Install, test, and debug PLC systems, providing technical support and troubleshooting for end users.
- Manage firmware upgrades and ensure all systems are up to date.
- Create and review PLC documentation, including schematics, programming procedures, and testing procedures.
- Perform measurements and test equipment to validate the performance of PLC systems.
- Perform electrical and PLC troubleshooting as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Siemens PLC programming.
- Advanced knowledge of ladder logic programming and development.
- Experience in programming, tuning, and troubleshooting PLC systems.
- Knowledge of concrete batching, mixing, and pumping equipment.
- Familiarity with concrete forming equipment and related processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
