Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Plastic Designer with 2+ years of experience in SolidWorks to join our team in Coimbatore. This position follows a 6-day work week with a hybrid model (2 days in-office, 4 days remote). The role offers performance-based incentives up to 25%. Candidates must have their own laptop for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop plastic parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for manufacturing.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, performance, and manufacturability.
Participate in design reviews and make adjustments based on analysis and feedback.
Ensure designs meet industry standards for plastic materials and manufacturing processes.
Contribute to the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plastic Designer.
Proficient in SolidWorks, especially in surfacing and complex assemblies.
Strong understanding of plastic materials, injection molding, and production processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must have a laptop for remote work.
