Plant Operator

Reports To: Plant Supervisor/Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Plant Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants and sewage management systems. This role ensures that the plant operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental regulations. The Plant Operator will monitor equipment, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor all plant equipment and processes including pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
• Adjust treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and repair equipment and facilities.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and update logs.
