Who we are looking for

We are seeking a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry to lead our plant operations. As the Plant Head, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with ISO standards and HSE guidelines. You will play a pivotal role in reviewing machinery recommendations, improving products and processes, and participating in plant expansion and equipment planning.

Reports to: MD/Directors

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance of equipment and ensure plant security and protection.
• Monitor and test various plant processes, and prepare, analyze, and issue production and performance reports.
• Control costs to achieve budgetary goals and develop a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
• Set performance goals and expectations, determine key performance indicators, and measure them regularly.
• Stay updated with the latest production trends, technology, and best practices.
• Build trustworthy relationships with employees and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Participate in manufacturing-related activities such as quality, productivity, safety, innovation, supply management, and on-time shipping.

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering and over 20 years of experience in plant operations within the chemical industry or postgraduate degrees with at least 15 years of experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of improving plant performance and efficiency.
