Plant Head

Overview:

As the Plant Head (Techno Profile) at Shilpan Steel Cast Pvt. Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the manufacturing plant with a focus on technological advancements, process optimization, and production efficiency. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure seamless production processes, adherence to quality standards, and implementation of best practices in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance productivity, and drive business growth.

Technology Integration: Identify, evaluate, and implement advanced technologies, automation systems, and digital tools to streamline production processes and improve efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the production process.

Production Management: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management, to meet production targets and customer demand.

Cost Management: Monitor production costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety standards.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of engineers, technicians, and production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, process optimization, and implementation of best practices to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

Proven experience (20+ years) in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the steel casting or related industry.

Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.

Proficient in implementing automation systems, digital tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results.

Sound knowledge of quality management systems, health, and safety regulations, and production planning principles.
