nPosition Title Planning Engineer
- nResponsible for production scheduling and develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that TRUMPF production deadlines are met.
- nRough Cut Capacity Planning as well as forecast planning
- nEstimating the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.
- nPromptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.
- nCoordinating production operations and supply chain team in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
- nRecommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.
- nEffecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
- nCompiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.
- nPromptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
nAcademic Background:
- nDiploma in mechanical Engineering
nWhich major preferred:
- nSAP/MRP knowledge with Planning work experience
nWorking experience:
- n5+ years of Proven experience working as a production planner
nKnowledge and skills:
- nSound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software
- nProficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
nLanguage:
- nExcellent English verbal and written communication
