Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.- Define project milestones, tasks, and deliverables.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
Track the progress of ongoing construction activities.- Update schedules based on project progress and changes.
Identify and address any delays or issues that may impact the project timeline.
Allocate resources effectively to meet project needs.- Coordinate the use of materials, equipment, and labor to optimize project efficiency.
Ensure that all resources are used within the project budget.
Prepare regular progress reports for project stakeholders.- Provide updates on project timelines, resource allocation, and budget status.
Communicate any risks or potential delays to management.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordination:
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Attend project meetings and provide input on planning and scheduling issues.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.- Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring in the civil engineering sector.
Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience in large-scale construction projects.- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
