JD for Recruitment of Planning Engineer -
- Preparing monthly progress reports including the critical path Study & Earn value management.
- For Construction supervision scope, Review contractor weekly & monthly progress reports along wit Construction Manager.
- Coordination with Team Head, Construction Manager & the contractors. Identify the issues & risks, & to communicate those to the management.
- Plan, coordinate & Deliver project deliverables in coordination with the disciplines engaged in detail engineering within the division.
- Review design deliverables & drawings before released for construction.
- Accountable for ensuring that all scope changes are maintained on a trend log and are promptly transmitted to the client for resolution in form of change controls.
- Coordination between the construction site & the design office for the design & drawing issues.
- Project documentation as per project Management Procedures- project charter, procurement plan, communication plan, review plan, risk & mitigation plan etc.
- Project control & reporting: Project planning, monitoring & control, critical path Study, resource management, cost management, Baseline management, Issue management.
- Preparing the overall S curve of the project. Look ahead schedules, Schedule crashing if it is getting delayed.
Candidate Specification
- Qualified graduate in B.E. / B. Tech - Chemical / Mechanical. Ideal candidates who have MBA or post-graduation in construction management or any project management qualifications would be preferred.
- Review design deliverables & drawings before released for construction.
- Accountable for ensuring that all scope changes are maintained on a trend log and are promptly transmitted to the client for resolution in form of change controls.
- Experience in managing industrial projects is desirable.
