Roles & Responsibilities:- Provide career counseling and guidance to students, helping them identify suitable career paths based on their skills, interests, and aspirations.
Assist students in preparing resumes, cover letters, and other job application materials.- Organize and coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and other placement activities.
Liaise with companies to secure placement opportunities for students.
- Schedule and arrange interviews for students with potential employers.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, employers, and recruitment agencies.- Identify and reach out to new companies to establish partnerships for student placements.
Act as the main point of contact between the institute and potential employers.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance students employability skills, including soft skills, interview techniques, and industry-specific knowledge.
Collaborate with faculty to integrate career development activities into the curriculum.- Maintain an up-to-date database of student profiles, placement records, and employer contacts.
Track the progress of placement activities and generate reports on placement statistics and outcomes.
- Promote the institute's placement achievements through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and the institute's website.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong phone etiquette and persuasive abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
Previous experience in the same field is preferred
