Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Placement Coordinator to oversee the placement process for our students at the HR Institute. This role involves collaborating with students, employers, and faculty to ensure effective job placements and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Support:
- Provide career counseling and guidance to students regarding job search strategies and career opportunities.
- Assist students in creating resumes, cover letters, and preparing for interviews.
Employer Relations:
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential employers and industry partners.
- Organize recruitment drives, campus placements, and networking events.
Placement Management:
- Coordinate the placement process, including student registration, employer engagement, and follow-up on placements.
- Monitor and evaluate placement outcomes and gather feedback from employers.
Workshops and Training:
- Plan and conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance students employability skills.
- Collaborate with faculty to align curriculum with industry needs.
Data Tracking and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of student placements and employer interactions.
- Prepare and present reports on placement statistics and trends to management.
Networking and Promotion:
- Stay informed about job market trends and employer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Previous experience in placement services, career counseling, or HR.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Experience in recruitment processes.
- Proficient in English, including mail drafting and basic presentation skills.
- Hands-on practice with job portals for effective candidate sourcing.
