Job Description

: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PL/SQL programming concepts and advanced proficiency in database management systems. As a Senior PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex database solutions to meet the organization's business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity and security.

Role Description:

Database Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and optimizing database solutions that meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements within the data engineering project.

Role Responsibility:

• Executes design sessions to gather requirements, review, approve, and communicate design artifacts with stakeholders.
  

• Architecting and managing various data model associated with Relational DBs (MSSQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and optionally NoSQL DBs (Azure Cosmos, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
  

• Design, implementation and maintenance of database solutions, management of data access, and resolving database performance, capacity, and security issues.
  

• Perform problem-solving of application issues and production errors, including high level critical production issues that require immediate attention.
  

• Design and code a high volume of SQL queries, stored procedures, and maintenance of packages.
  

  Role Requirement:

• Proficient in basic and advanced SQL programming concepts(Procedures, Analytical functions etc.).
  

• Knowledgeable in Shell /PowerShell scripting.
  

• Knowledgeable in relational databases, nonrelational databases, data streams, and file stores.
  

• Knowledgeable in performance tuning and optimization.
  

• Experience in Data Profiling and Data validation.
  

• Experience in requirements gathering
  
  and documentation processes and performing unit testing.
  

• Understanding and Implementing QA and various testing process in the project.
  

• Sound aptitude, outstanding logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
  

• Willingness to learn and take initiatives.
  

• Ability to adapt to fast-paced Agile environment.
  

  Additional Requirement:

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to support various business applications and processes.
  

• Implement advanced PL/SQL programming techniques such as dynamic SQL, bulkprocessing, and exception handling to enhance application performance andreliability.
  

• Proficiency in Oracle Database technologies, including PL/SQL, SQL, and OracleDatabase Management tools.
  

• Collaborate with business analysts, software engineers, and data architects to analyze requirements, design database solutions, and implement data models.
  

• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database objects to improve query performanceand overall system efficiency.
  

• Implement and enforce data governance policies, data security measures, andcompliance standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  

• Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and databaseoptimization techniques.
  

• Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus
