Job Description: Pizza maker at Epic Poetry CafLocation
: Epic Poetry Caf: Head Chef / Kitchen Manager
Pizza Creation: Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, including classic and gourmet options, following Epic Poetry Cafs recipes and standards.
- Dough and Sauce Preparation: Make pizza dough and sauces from scratch, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
Ingredient Management
: Handle and store pizza ingredients according to food safety regulations, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.Station Management
: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station; manage inventory and equipment.Quality Control: Monitor the quality, presentation, and portion sizes of pizzas to ensure they meet our high standards and customer expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely and efficient pizza service.
Customer Interaction
: Engage with guests if needed, to enhance their dining experience and accommodate special requests or dietary needs.Continuous Improvement
: Stay updated on industry trends and techniques; actively contribute to menu development and creative pizza ideas.:
Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a restaurant or caf setting.- Proficiency in pizza dough preparation, sauce making, and pizza baking techniques.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.- Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
