Piping Layout Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Layout: Develop piping layout designs using CAD software, ensuring efficient routing, accessibility for maintenance, and compliance with project specifications.
• Drawing Preparation: Prepare detailed isometric and orthographic drawings, piping schematics, and diagrams.
• 3D Modeling: Create and manage 3D models of piping systems using software like AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, or SmartPlant 3D.
• Coordination: Work closely with project engineers, structural designers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are integrated and meet all project requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in piping layout design within the oil and gas industry.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, SmartPlant 3D).
• Skills: Excellent spatial visualization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
