Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Piping Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems across various projects. This role requires a strong knowledge of piping construction and installation processes, as well as experience leading a team of workers. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of piping workers
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control requirements
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems on various projects
- Read and interpret piping drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Coordinate with other trades and departments to ensure project timelines are met
- Train and mentor piping workers to ensure high-quality work and safety compliance
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labor hours
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience as a Piping Foreman in the Indian job market
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in piping construction preferred
- Strong knowledge of piping construction and installation processes
- Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience leading a team of workers and managing project timelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labor hours
