- Collaborating with skilled engineers to create an optimal piping design solution.
- Preparing equipment and piping layout and design of process plants.
- Support senior piping engineer in preparing feasibility, concept, and FEED studies.
- Prepare / Review engineering documents like calculations, specifications, philosophies, datasheets, and drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborating with colleagues in different regions and disciplines to overcome obstacles and ensure the quality of deliverables.
You will also possess:
- Masters/bachelors in mechanical engineering with 4-8 years of experience.
- Skills in preparing specifications and datasheets for Piping-related items
- Experience in producing piping documents viz. Layout, isometric, MTO etc
- Be conversant with codes and standards ASME, API, EN, BS, NACE etc.,
- Experience in doing the quality check of the documents and following quality management systems in project execution.
- Knowledge of piping stress analysis using Caesar-II or similar software.
- Knowledge of piping material specification and thickness calculations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
