Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Piping Designer with minimum experience in Industrial sector. The Piping Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to piping design, routing, plant layout and piping specs/BOM using Revit and Computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role is located in Saroornagar, Hyderabad and the Piping Designer will be expected to work on-site.

Fresher profiles who are technically good & should know basics in Revit will also be considered.

Job Description:

Working on detailed piping engineering design of heavy industrial facilities.

Modeling building utility and process piping and generating drawings in Revit.

Creating Parametric Families for the Piping Elements and overall integration.

Producing drawings from conceptual planning per the technical specifications.

BIM Implementation along with other disciplines.

Job responsibilities:

Responsible in Mechanical/Piping department for preparation of piping layouts, General Arrangement drawings and Isometric drawings in 2D/3D as needed for fabrication and erection of piping. Pipe sizing, material selection and preparation of bill of materials, erection welding schedules and valve schedules, pipe wall thickness specifications, etc. for interconnecting process piping. Design of HVAC and preparation of design drawings for environments with defined heat loads. Preparation of drawings and checking them for constructability and correctness in accordance with the relevant ASME codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in refineries, piping design, plant layout, and piping
• B.Tech Mechanical
• Proficiency in Revit software
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in piping design
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
