Develop, maintain and manage crop cycle timelines for each crop. Ensure process standardization and accuracy at a global level.
Develop a supply and demand planning strategy for APAC Vegetable breeding programs to include development and management of processes to build a two to three-year view of resource needs (units of work) across vegetable crops in the region and other R&D partners; deliver and execute against detailed annual plan to include allocation of work units by location, experimental design & set up, and sourcing of seed; ensure optimization of resources across testing, seed production, and molecular breeding.
Design and manage large scale data analyses in collaboration with Data Analysts to support breeding, seed production, trial strategy, and execution efforts; Provide primary support and responsibility for the logistics, needs for Vegetable Breeding and Testing in APAC while collaborating with diverse cross-functional and global teams.
Provide systems adoption support to transform prototype analyses and decision methods into production applications for use by breeding and testing teams. This will include the continuous improvement of new breeding technology software tools, systems, and planning processes.
Use analytics and operation research skills to increase data driven decisions that improve advancement of breeding material and support data to execute, improve and sustain the vegetable breeding pipelines.
Deploy a strategy in collaboration with analytics and IT teams to leverage advanced analytics, such as Operations Research (OR), for planning design to drive a predictive, reliable pipeline of products to meet market demand.
Partner with regional breeding teams to understand and operationalize breeding strategies, pipeline schemes and long-range plan. Co-develop processes to capture this information and ensure alignment with resource availability at the Vegetable R&D level.
Work closely with the crop strategy leads, the Testing & Operations teams and Collaborative breeding leads to develop strategy and track metrics for collaborative breeding in vegetable crops.
Develop a broad knowledge of breeding focus areas, identify new trends and processes to improve efficiency, and create competitive edge for products.
Adherence to all ESH procedures, ISO, regulatory and compliance protocols, and business conduct protocols.
Lead to ensure to fully implement all applicable Federal, State, local and Internal policies and programs including but not limited to HSE,
QMS, regulatory and compliance protocols, and business conduct protocols
