We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching physical education, promoting physical fitness, and encouraging a healthy lifestyle among students.
Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective physical education lessons to students from classes LKG-10th, following CBSE standards and curriculum.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education program that aligns with CBSE guidelines and promotes overall physical development.
Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE): Utilize CCE methods to assess and evaluate students physical abilities, skills, and overall fitness through a variety of tools and techniques.- Practical Supervision: Supervise practical PE & sports lessons, including both indoor and outdoor classes, ensuring safety and active participation.
Injury Prevention: Ensure that children compete to their ability level and aren't exposed to unnecessary injury or illness through school sports.
- Motivation: Motivate students to take up new sports or athletic pursuits and develop a lifelong love for physical activity.
Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of students throughout the school year, providing constructive feedback and guidance.- Parental Communication: Attend parents evenings and provide parents with comprehensive reports on their child's progress.
Team Training: Train and coach school sports teams to compete and succeed in nation-wide events.
- Event Coordination: Organize and oversee school sports events, competitions, and activities, ensuring student participation and engagement.
Safety Management: Ensure the safety of students during physical activities by following proper procedures and guidelines.- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Education: B.PEd / M.PEd preferred. Any relevant Sports Coaching Certification is an advantage.- Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching physical education, preferably in a CBSE school setting.
Strong knowledge of physical education concepts, sports, and fitness activities- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students to lead healthy lifestyles
- Strong organizational and classroom management abilities
First aid and CPR certification is an advantage
Passion for physical fitness and education- Patience and empathy towards students
Creative and innovative teaching approach
