Position Description
As a senior full stack software developer, you are responsible for the integration of requirements into our web applications. You take over the architectural and design phase, define, estimate, and document the solution, and you support the agile team in developing secure and maintainable PHP code. You are responsible for the coding guidelines, architectural planning, and the overall design. You are also familiar with the creation of required database objects and with development of SQL code. You work closely together with the Business Analysts, Product Owners and Testers to ensure the high quality of the deliverables.
Your future duties and responsibilities
At least three years experience in PHP and with RDBMs
- Strong knowledge of PHP 8, PHP Frameworks, and web application design patterns
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS Secure Coding Practices OWASP Top 10 security risks and mitigation
- Software design and architecture skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- English B2 (written and spoken)
Preferred / Beneficial Requirements
- Experience in working with the following technologies and products PHP 7.3 and 8.2 / 8.3 Zend / Laminas, Symfony MySQL (Optional: MSSQL, Oracle) APIs (Optional: Kafka) Cloud Development (Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS) Git / GitLab, Gerrit, Jenkins, Composer, CI/CD Confluence, Jira Linux HPE Voltage, Splunk
- Experience in technology and business consultancy
- Experience in the finance and/or credit card industry
