Photographer/Videographer

Job Overview:

The Photographer and Videographer for the jewelry industry are responsible for producing high-quality visual content, including photographs and videos, that showcase the beauty and craftsmanship of jewelry products. This role requires a strong eye for detail, creativity, and technical expertise in photography and videography.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Photography and Videography - Plan and execute photoshoots and video shoots for jewelry products, ensuring accurate representation of color, texture, and detail.Use lighting, backdrops, and props to create visually appealing compositions.Capture both still images and dynamic videos to highlight jewelry pieces from various angles.

2. Equipment and Setup - Maintain and operate photography and videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing software.Set up and arrange jewelry products for optimal visual presentation.

3. Image and Video Editing - Edit and retouch images and videos to enhance their quality and ensure they meet brand standards.Crop, color correct, and optimize visual content for various marketing channels.

4. Creative Direction - Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and plan photoshoots, video concepts, and visual storytelling strategies.Provide creative input to ensure that visuals align with brand identity and marketing objectives.

5. Content Management - Organize and maintain an organized digital library of images and videos for easy retrieval.Ensure the security and backup of visual assets to prevent loss.

6. Trend Analysis - Should Have a clear understanding of fashion and digital media trends.

7. Collaboration - Collaborate with jewelry designers, marketing teams, and art directors to align visual content with brand messaging and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Photography, Videography, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a photographer and videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing jewelry and product photography and videography.

- Proficiency in photography and videography equipment, including DSLR cameras, lighting, and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of lighting techniques, composition, and color theory.

- Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Familiarity with jewelry and an understanding of how to capture its unique qualities is a plus.
