Job Description - Digital Marketing Manager
Job Purpose:
A highly skilled Digital Marketing Manager responsible to develop, implement, track, and
optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. Should have a
strong grasp of current digital tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital
marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Must have a passion for all things digital
and a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing
strategies. The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Marketing head and work
with the Marketing/ supporting teams (such as Design, Sales), and vendors to launch
campaigns on time and on budget.
Job Description
1. Develop and manage a content marketing strategy that supports the overall
marketing goals and objectives to develop the annual and monthly Calendar of
activities with the Marketing Head.
2. Develop strategies & tactics to get the word out about the company/ projects and
drive qualified traffic to our websites and media channels.
3. Brainstorm new and creative growth avenues including customer, employee and
community engagement initiatives. Also build brand specific collaborations and
promote influencer association for the brands by working along with the BTL lead.
4. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for
adoption where appropriate
5. Plan, execute, monitor and report all digital marketing initiatives as per the Monthly
Calendar, including SEO/ SEM, email, social media and performance advertising
campaigns by ensuring complete integration with LMS (Far Vision), Meta, Google
and all other partners.
6. Maintain and enhance our social media presence while also monitoring and
analyzing the effectiveness and engagement of marketing content on parameters
such as Likes, Followers, Comments, Shares and Reposts. (Facebook, LinkedIn,
Instagram, YouTube.)
7. Must have a refined sense of brand design and should be able to write basic
content/ copy for social media in addition to all other types of internal and external
communications.
8. Build website reach and impressions to boost brand awareness and visibility.
9. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess
against goals (ROI and KPIs)
10. Develop and manage website content and performance ensuring top SERP, higher
website visits and longer time spent on the websites.
11. Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
12. Agency supervision and ensure the efficient creation of landing pages to optimize
user experience.
13. Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels (Enquiry to Qualified Lead,
Qualified Lead to Site Visit, Site Visit to Sales).
14. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the
insights and also keep up to date with developments in SEM.
15. Lead keyword research, utilize Google Analytics for performance tracking and
optimization of content.
16. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across
multiple channels and customer touch points.
17. Brainstorming ideas and creating communication material for internal and external
audiences.
18. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
19. Knowledge sharing with the team on technical details, identifying appropriate
leads which can qualify, appropriate channels to generate leads, work on CRM tools,
etc.
Skills required:
1. Excellent leadership, ownership of the role, initiative - Self-starter with a can-do
attitude and a passion for digital marketing.
2. Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills with content
development and planning abilities
3. Attention to detail, self-motivated, creative problem solver
4. An in-depth understanding of creative design, copy and web best practices/
guidelines
5. Manage a team of web designers/ community managers and agency partners.
Qualifications and Mandates for the role:
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
2. 4 to 6 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on developing and
executing ROI driven engaging digital marketing campaigns that are content led.
3. Proven track record of driving business and brand growth through digital
marketing, experience with managing LMS for evaluating performance campaign
effectiveness.
4. Strong knowledge of Web/ Display/ PPC/ SEO marketing, SEM, email marketing,
social media, and other digital marketing channels.
5. Excellent analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools, such as Google
Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, FB Ads manager.
6. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively with cross-functional team
