We are an audiobook platform that creates audiobooks, stories, and courses in more than 7 Indian languages for the users of Bharat. It was founded in 2018 by former IITians and Toppr executives Lal Chand Bisu, Vinod Meena, and Vikas Goyal. It is a curated platform where users, mostly hail from Tier II and III cities, create audio content in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Marathi among other regional languages. Kuku FM hosts 150,000 hours of content across audiobooks, stories, book summaries, courses, and podcasts on its platform, covering a wide range of genres from fiction and nonfiction audiobooks, self-help education titles, entertainment, news, mythology, spirituality, learning and inspirations, stories, poems, and even jingles.
About The Role
The growth team at Kuku FM is expanding. We are looking for a marketing expert to join our team and own all things Performance marketing. Your expertise is performance-driven social media advertising but you will thrive better if you also want to play around with Content, Creative Production, and most importantly numbers!
Key Responsibilities
- Using expertise in Google/Meta App Marketing Campaigns to create and implement high-impact performance marketing strategy to drive business goals of various sub-business units
- Manage and steer large, high-scale monthly Performance Marketing budgets
- Build the consumer renewal funnel to forecast, monitor, and achieve conversion via paid marketing channels
- Acquire returning customers with efficient CAC in line with budgets and targets
- Day-to-day campaign management and execution tactics based on performance to maximize return on ad spend and reporting the same data.
- Develop, implement and refine retention marketing strategy to drive cross-sell/upsell
- Gather market insights & do competition bench-marking
- Work closely with the Creative team on creative optimization and the Analytics team to draw actionable insights
- Collaborate with Content teams to develop relevant content for your campaigns
- Conduct A/B experiments with clear success/failure metrics to improve campaign effectiveness across content, creative, etc.
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting across all key metrics, develop a strong reporting framework, analytics, and ROI tracking for all our campaigns
- Brainstorming new ways of segmenting potential customers and means of communication, leading into quick-test pilots
- In-depth understanding & hands on experience in running ads across major digital platforms
Skills Required
- 1.5+ yrs of hands-on experience with Google/FB Ads Manager. At least 1+ yrs running App-based UAC campaigns.
- You have an innate understanding of how app campaigns, event-based targeting, and retargeting campaigns work
- In-depth understanding of conversions, and how they affect the overall outcome of the platform
- A/B testing and experimentation setups can offer pointed insights on targeting, messaging and creatives!
- You must be able to infer insights from multiple campaigns and offer strategies that can work at scale.
- Extremely proactive and ownership-driven, great communication skills are a must.
