Performance Marketing Lead
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to oversee, run and manage digital campaigns and monitor paid marketing budgets. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the principles of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Social Media Marketing (SMM). You should also be analytical and good with numbers. Your goal will be to ensure our online marketing efforts for our clients are target oriented and ROI driven.
Responsibilities:
- Create, manage and grow a dynamic and growing team in performance marketing
- Ability to identify media opportunities, analyse market and align to clients business objectives
- Create media plans, media calendars, and budgeting
- End-to-end responsibility of multiple campaigns
- Addressing team in day-to-day activities
- Participate in forming effective performance marketing strategies.
- Launch and optimize various PPC campaigns.
- Oversee accounts on the search and social media platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Be involved in keyword selection and audience targeting.
- Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI.
- Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues.
- Produce reports for management (e.g. dashboards).
- Write attractive and concise copy for adverts.
- Suggest and develop new campaigns across multiple channels.
- Find ways to reduce the risk of click fraud.
- Keep up with PPC and SEM trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Performance Marketing.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of SMM and digital marketing concepts.
- Familiarity with multiple platforms (e.g. Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook) is preferred
- Working knowledge of analytics tools
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Good communication skills
- Analytical thinking with strong math skills
- Google Ads certification is a plus
- Enact or actualize media plans drawn up by media planners within Budget Control (How much the client wants to spend as against the earning margin of)
- Understand various kinds of Facebook Ads, Sponsored Posts, Sponsored Stories etc and which is appropriate for which situation
- Identify new ad formats / platforms that can work well with the clients objective
- Ensuring Media Campaigns go live as per scheduled time
- Determine ROI reports on each campaign from a social media, earned media and paid media perspective
- Analysing the effectiveness of the campaign and using this data to inform future campaigns
- Focus on Client reporting and budget management
- Keeping up to date with industry research figures
- Monitoring campaigns on a daily basis
- Optimizations to be made to campaigns. Discuss on a regular basis changes / suggestions for betterment / performance of the account
- Accountability for campaigns performing as per media plan given (extremely important)
