Operating in the dynamic landscape of credit improvement and native loan journeys for select users, our mission is to revolutionise access to financial services in India by leveraging technology, data-driven insights, and a deep understanding of our target consumers. We help our consumers design and follow personalised behaviour paths to increase their credit scores and be accepted into mainstream credit.

Position: Performance Marketing Analyst - B2C

Location: Onsite - Bangalore

Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview:

As a Performance Marketing Analyst at Oolka, you will be at the forefront of driving app-based customer acquisition and retention through data-driven digital marketing strategies. You will play a key role in optimising campaigns across various platforms to maximise ROI and support our mission of democratising financial inclusivity in India. Your role involves designing, executing, and analysing marketing initiatives to engage underserved Indian consumers, helping them improve credit scores and access mainstream financial services.

We seek an analytical, creative, and results-oriented individual with a passion for fintech and financial inclusivity, eager to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and make a positive impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute app marketing strategies focused on B2C acquisition across digital channels including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Analyse and optimise marketing campaigns to maximise ROI, focusing on key performance metrics such as CPA, CPL, CTR, and conversion rates.
  • Conduct A/B testing to identify the most effective creative, copy, and audience targeting strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, tech, and design to align marketing strategies with business objectives and product launches.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to create targeted marketing campaigns that reach our B2C audience effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage and optimise the marketing budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources towards high-performing campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on performance marketing metrics, providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in performance marketing and the broader digital marketing landscape.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies to enhance marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2-4 years) in performance marketing with a focus on app marketing acquisition and campaign management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, etc.
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Passion for financial inclusivity and a desire to make a positive impact in the fintech space.
  • A degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field from a top-tier college is preferred.
