- Expertise in performance testing, specifically focusing on microservice-based APIs.
- Should have been actively engaged in end-to-end performance testing activities, independently handling tasks ranging from gathering non-functional requirements, designing workloads, scripting, to preparing reports.
- Proficient in utilizing JMeter for conducting both web and API performance testing. (must)
- Skilled in executing distributed load tests using JMeter to facilitate large-scale testing scenarios. (must)
- Hands-on experience in performance testing microservice applications deployed in cloud-native environments across major cloud platforms like AWS, or Azure, or GCP. (must)
- Utilized APM tools such as AppDynamics, Datadog, Dynatrace, and log analytics tools like Splunk, Elasticsearch, along with DB monitoring tools, for comprehensive monitoring of all application layers, including infrastructure. (Any one tool)
- Proficient in performance bottleneck analysis using APM monitoring and log analytics setups across all application tiers. (must)
- Possesses a strong understanding of database operations, has experience in monitoring and optimizing databases and queries across various platforms such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. (Good to have)
- Demonstrates strong scripting skills in at least one of Java, Groovy, JavaScript, C, or Python. (anyone).
- Experienced in setting up CI pipelines specifically tailored for performance testing processes.
- Previous work experience in managing and monitoring applications deployed in Kubernetes environments is considered advantageous. (Good to have)
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address performance challenges.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey findings and insights effectively
