Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Operations Coordinator to join our People Shared Services team in Bengaluru, India. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and is passionate about driving process improvements. In this position, you will provide exceptional service while collaborating with team members at all levels. You will manage international assignees, including their relocation, immigration, and visa requirements, and oversee contract creation, Right to Work audits, letter production, and data management.

Hot Coffee and Tea vending is a 2000+ Core business in India. Market estimates indicate over 190K machines in market with Costa ready to enter and establish a clearly differentiated and scaled position within the Vending Business in India.

A bit about the role...

As a key member of the People Shared Services team, you will provide essential support to your colleagues whenever needed. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy of employee records and data and contributing to the delivery of an efficient People service to the business. In this role, you will be the second line point of contact, working closely with our third-party managed service to achieve seamless collaboration.

  • Act as the second point of contact for employees, managers, and Tier-1 People Business Partners, providing support for processes, transactions, and system issues, while connecting colleagues with experts for complex matters.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for key People processes and systems, troubleshooting data issues, handling special projects, performing audits, and making informed decisions based on policies.
  • Ensure efficient service delivery by completing inquiries within SLA, prioritising based on urgency, while maintaining data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Contribute to process improvements, maintaining and updating Knowledge Base content, and collaborating with third party service teams to enhance service quality.
  • Manage international relocations, provide support for international assignees, handle immigration cases, and communicate regularly with stakeholders on project updates and business impacts.

  • Strong initiative, multitasking ability, and decision-making skills to improve processes and meet service level goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in managing HR documents on SharePoint and related systems, with a background in reporting, archiving, and employee file management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of handling confidential information and providing clear customer support.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities, with experience in HR systems, training others, and working in People Shared Services or retail environments.
  • Well-organized with strong planning skills, proficient in Microsoft Office 365, fluent in English, and familiar with ERP systems like Ceridian/Dayforce.
