Job Overview

We seek an experienced Pega UI/UX Developer with at least 5 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enriching user interfaces and experiences on the Pega platform. You'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between user experience and business processes, ensuring seamless interaction between users and systems through effective UI/UX designs.

Key Responsibilities

• UI/UX Development: Create and implement user interfaces using Pega UI components. Ensure consistency, usability, and functionality across all Pega applications.
• Pega Platform Expertise: Customize and extend the platform's user interfaces in line with business requirements using Pega's design principles.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Visualize workflows, user journeys, and interactions before implementation by creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• UX Research: Analyze user behavior and derive actionable insights from user research to inform design decisions.
• Component Development: Develop reusable UI components conforming to design standards and integrating seamlessly with backend systems.
• Collaboration: Ensure a smooth and effective user experience in Pega applications by working closely with product managers, business analysts, and backend developers.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the front-end code to enhance the performance and responsiveness of the user interface.
• User Testing: Refine designs based on feedback and test results from usability tests.
• Accessibility & Compliance: Deliver inclusive designs that cater to a diverse range of users by ensuring compliance with industry-standard accessibility guidelines.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Pega UI/UX development.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Pega 8.x or higher, including the design and customization of UI components.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks for enhancing user interfaces.
• Expertise in designing for responsive and adaptive interfaces for different devices and browsers.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• UX/UI Design Skills:
• Deep understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI) and strong grasp of user-centered design principles.
• Proficiency in creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Ability to implement changes based on user feedback and knowledge of usability testing.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetic design.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret user needs and technical constraints effectively.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Pega Certification: CSSA or CPBA with a focus on UI/UX development.
• Prior experience working with Pega's Cosmos design system and UI kit.
• Experience in building complex workflow applications within Pega.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0) and how to incorporate these into UI designs.
