Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Pega UI/UX Developer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and enhancing user interfaces and experiences on the Pega platform. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between the user experience and business processes, ensuring seamless interaction between users and systems through effective UI/UX designs.

Key Responsibilities

• UI/UX Development: Design, develop, and implement user interfaces using Pega UI components. Ensure consistency, usability, and functionality across all Pega applications.
• Pega Platform Expertise: Leverage Pega's design principles to customize and extend the platform's user interfaces in alignment with business requirements.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize workflows, user journeys, and interactions before implementation.
• UX Research: Conduct user research, analyze user behavior, and derive actionable insights to inform design decisions.
• Component Development: Develop reusable UI components that conform to design standards and integrate seamlessly with backend systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and backend developers to ensure a smooth and effective user experience in Pega applications.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance performance and responsiveness of the user interface by optimizing the front-end code.
• User Testing: Conduct usability tests and refine designs based on feedback and test results.
• Accessibility & Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry-standard accessibility guidelines to deliver inclusive designs that cater to a diverse range of users.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Pega UI/UX development.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Pega 8.x or higher, including the design and customization of UI components.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks for enhancing user interfaces.
• Expertise in designing for responsive and adaptive interfaces for different devices and browsers.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• UX/UI Design Skills:
• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles with a deep understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI).
• Proficiency in creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Knowledge of usability testing and ability to implement changes based on user feedback.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetic design.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret user needs and technical constraints effectively.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Pega Certification: CSSA or CPBA with a focus on UI/UX development.
• Prior experience working with Pega's Cosmos design system and UI kit.
• Experience in building complex workflow applications within Pega.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0) and how to incorporate these into UI designs.
