As a Pediatrician MD DNB DCH Consultant at our medical facility in Devadurga, Karnataka, you will play a crucial role in providing premium healthcare services to pediatric patients. Key responsibilities
- Conducting regular examinations of pediatric patients to assess their health and development
- Diagnosing and treating various illnesses, infections, and injuries specific to pediatric care
- Developing comprehensive care plans and providing guidance to parents or caregivers on child health and nutrition
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to obtain accurate information about a patient's medical condition
- Administering vaccinations and medications as needed
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records
- Conducting research and staying updated on advancements in pediatric medicine
- Participating in educational seminars and community outreach programs related to child health and wellness
- Adhering to professional standards, ethical codes, and legal regulations in pediatric healthcare
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD) with a specialization in Pediatrics
- Board certification from the National Board of Examinations (DNB) in Pediatrics
- Diploma in Child Health (DCH) is highly preferred
- Active state medical license to practice in Karnataka, India
- Proven experience working as a Pediatrician in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating pediatric ailments and conditions
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to pediatric care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment
