The PCF Platform Specialist is front and centner as the corporation migrates to the GCP Cloud Services [Foundations]. It requires the individual to stay abreast of the continual evolution of changing technology and understand how PCF (Tanzu Application Services (TAS), RabbitMQ, Redis, Spring Cloud, etc.) integrate into the new Ford Standard Compute environment to fit customer needs.
- 2+ years experience with operational user support
- 2+ years Linux experience (preferably on VMWare)
- 2+ years Experience in Container/Docker environment
- Strong knowledge on Unix Shell Scripting
- Good Experience in creating and managing Pipelines to automate task
- Good Knowledge on any public cloud (preferably on GCP)
- Execution of ITIL processes including Incident, Request and Change management
- Experience with Agile approach and methodologies.
- Interface with Business IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts.
- Having work experience in Cloud Technologies (PaaS, IaaS, Cloud Infrastructure Services)
- Good Knowledge on Linux Administration.
- Should be at least 3 years Experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) Administration/Operations
- Should have experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry Installation and Foundation Upgrade using Concourse Pipelines
- Should have experience in CI/CD Automation with Concourse pipelines for Cloud Foundry jobs Automation.
- Should have experience in Linux environment and Scripting.
- Having Knowledge in usage of GitHub, Bitbucket and Jenkins
- Interface with other teams and create and manage custom APIs.
- Work with team members to establish best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
- Identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
- Develop automated unit tests with working software, to confirm software functionality conformance to functional and non-functional requirements.
- Improve continuous integration tooling by automating manual processes within the delivery pipeline and improving quality gates based on past learnings.
