Job OverviewWe are looking for a meticulous and skilled individual to join our team as a Soldering and Wiring Harness Technician. This role involves assembling and soldering wiring harnesses to meet specific standards and requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in soldering techniques, wiring harness assembly, and managing electronic / electrical systems.
Perform soldering tasks to secure connections and splice wires within the wiring harness.- Utilize soldering irons, heat guns, and other tools to ensure proper bonding.
Inspect solder joints for quality and integrity, reworking as needed to meet standards.
- Conduct visual inspections of completed wiring harnesses to verify correct assembly, wire routing, and component alignment.
Perform electrical continuity tests and functional checks to ensure proper operation of the wiring harnesses.- Implement quality control procedures to maintain consistency and reliability in the production process.
Maintain accurate records of materials used, assembly procedures, and test results for each wiring harness.
- Complete production logs, work orders, and inspection reports to track progress and ensure traceability.
Keep soldering equipment, wiring tools, and test instruments in good working condition.- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, calibration, and replacement of worn parts.
ITI in Electrical or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or electrical assembly is preferred.- Proven experience in soldering and wiring harness assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
Proficiency in soldering techniques for both through-hole and surface mount components.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wire gauges, and color-coding standards.
Ability to debug the PCB boards, power section to communication section- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and precision tools.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
