Quintessential Design (you can call us Quin) is looking for an outstanding PCB Designer to join our dynamic
team. As a PCB Designer at Quin, you will have the opportunity to Support the Electrical Design
Engineering team in the design of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) and Flex Circuit Assemblies
(FCAs),Perform symbol and footprint creation for new electrical components and much more.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Push the limits of your own creativity every day
Perform parts placement ensuring critical parts and board outlines are as defined by Mechanical and
Electrical engineers.
Perform Routing and follow stack-up defined by the Design Engineer to PCBs of medium complexity,
typically used in embedded systems with 6-8 layer PCBs.
Drawing and design file generation (Gerber files, pick and place files, ...) to support PCB fab and
assembly Including communication with fab and assembly suppliers.
Preparation and release of pre-release and production release documentation related to the creation
and submission of ECOs.
Perform component placement and maintain integrity between components
Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
AREAS OF IMPACT
Analyze and resolve design-related issues promptly.
Work with the project team to understand circuit requirements and limitations.
Develop design documentation and requirements specifications for assigned projects.
Provide support to PCB engineering, manufacturing, and packaging teams when required.
Review and recommend improvements to existing designs.
Stay updated with the latest design techniques.

WHAT YOU ARE
B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, or a related discipline.
Experience in designing high density boards that incorporate microcontroller, mixed analog and
digital circuits.
Ability to independently complete complex PCBA/FCA designs following Engineering guidelines and process.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of communication skills
Assist in preparing test procedures and developing test fixtures to verify PCB functions.
