Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Statutory Compliance Management:

    - Research and interpret payroll-related laws, regulations, and updates.

    - Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor laws, and other statutory requirements.



  • Payroll Processing:

    - Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    - Manage payroll data, tax deductions, and benefit calculations.

  • Tax Compliance:

    - Handle tax filings, returns, and payments (e.g., income tax, social security).

    - Ensure tax withholding, reporting, and depositing accuracy.

  • Labor Law Compliance:

    - Monitor and ensure adherence to labor laws (e.g., minimum wage, overtime).

    - Manage compliance with workers compensation, unemployment insurance.

  • Audit and Risk Management:

    - Conduct internal audits to identify compliance risks.

    - Implement corrective actions and process improvements.

  • Reporting and Analytics:

    - Generate compliance reports and analytics for management.

    - Provide insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    - Work with HR, Finance, and external partners (e.g., auditors, tax authorities).

    - Communicate compliance requirements and changes.

  • Process Improvement:

    - Streamline payroll processes, leveraging technology and best practices.

    - Develop and maintain compliance documentation and procedures.
