The International Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and processing payroll for employees located in various countries. This role demands a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and knowledge of international payroll regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Employer of Record (EOR) services and be proficient in using Staffology software.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing:
- Accurately process payroll for UK employees in compliance with local laws and regulations, including and not limited to, setting up new starters/processing leavers
- Management of international payrolls including liaising with our experienced global teams
- Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of payroll funds.
- Manage payroll schedules and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Onboarding new clients, ensuring all aspects of the onboarding process are completed and signed off in line with the country specifics
- Offboarding clients, ensuring all aspects of the offboarding process are completed and signed off in line with the country specifics
Employer of Record (EOR) Management:
- Collaborate with EOR providers to ensure correct payroll processing for employees under EOR arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with EOR agreements and local employment laws.
Software Utilization:
- Use Staffology software to manage and process payroll.
- Maintain payroll records in Staffology, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Generate and analyse payroll reports using Staffology.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay updated with changes in UK and international payroll regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Prepare and submit required payroll reports to regulatory bodies.
- Handle payroll audits and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Administering pension schemes and completing monthly submissions to ensure compliance for our clients
Employee Support:
- Address payroll-related inquiries from international employees.
- Provide support for issues related to payroll discrepancies, tax queries, and other related matters
Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate with HR, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Communicate effectively with international teams and external partners
- Communicate with third-party providers, such as HMRC and pension providers
