Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Oversee and manage the preparation and distribution of the organization's payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local payroll, wage, tax and hour laws practices. Prepare and file payroll tax returns and ensure accurate & timely submission of all payroll taxes
  • Query Management: Address and resolve queries and issues from employees.
  • Leave Management
  • Handle Employee Benefits : Manage reimbursement disbursement, medical insurance and group insurance
  • HR MIS: Maintain accurate MIS reports and submit as per timelines
  • Systems Management: Maintain payroll systems and software. Work with IT and other departments to ensure systems are integrated and functioning properly.
  • Audits and Reconciliation: Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures and records to ensure accuracy. Reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or Post Graduate
  • 6 to 9 years of relevant experience within Human Resources payroll processing department.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge and experience of SAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Experience in handling Payroll for 1000+ employees
  • Experience in lean process, process improvement, implementation of enabling HR technologies will be an added advantage
