Payroll Processing: Accurately process monthly payroll for all employees, including salaried, hourly, and contract workers for the allotted clients.
Data Management: Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation of the allotted clients.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices of the allotted clients.
Deductions and Benefits: Administer deductions for taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other withholdings for the allotted clients.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries for the allotted clients.
System Management: Utilize payroll software currently being used in the organization to input, process, and verify payroll data. Ensure the payroll system is updated with any changes in employment law.
Coordination: Work closely with the accounts department to ensure seamless payroll processing and financial reporting.
Client visit: Visit regularly to the client as per schedule to collect necessary data and for effective client relationship management.
