Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, allowances, and deductions.
  • Stay updated on relevant payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with various teams for effective payroll processing.
  • maintain confidentiality in handling payroll information.
  • Statutory Liabilities: Handle statutory compliance related to EPF, NPS, TDS, gratuity, and other statutory obligations. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to stay current on regulatory changes.
  • Employee Queries: Address and resolve employee queries related to payroll, investments, TDS, and other financial matters. Guide employees on tax-saving investments and benefits.
  • Systems and Tools: Utilize payroll management systems, with a preference for experience with ZOHO Payroll. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and compliance-related documents. Generate and analyze payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualification Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in handling statutory liabilities such as EPF, NPS, TDS, and gratuity.
  • Experience in addressing employee queries related to payroll, taxation, and investments.
  • Familiarity with ZOHO Payroll is a definite advantage.

Roles Responsibilities:

  • As a Payroll Associate, your primary responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end payroll process for GBL s workforce
  • This involves ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, allowances, and deductions
  • You will be responsible for handling statutory liabilities such as EPF, NPS, TDS, gratuity, and other compliance-related aspects
