The Payroll Assistant is primarily responsible to assist on the monthly payroll operations in our company. Your primary responsibility will be to consolidate the monthly Payroll movements. You will prepare summary of movements by country and prepare pre calculation of Gross Salary. To succeed in this role, you must have strong analytical skills, good communication skills and can work with minimal supervision
Minimum Qualifications Experience:
- Degree in Accounting.
- Relevant experience/qualifications in business, administration or financials would be preferable. Experience working in the pharmaceutical, CRO or healthcare industry is advantageous.
- Must have at least 2 years payroll experience and GL reconciliation.
Job Qualifications:
- Assist with Consolidation of Monthly Movement/Payroll Changes.
- Calculate gross salaries.
- Ensure New Hires documents are complete.
- Update payroll files. Ensure that Payroll files are prepared and sent to the Payroll Provider on a timely basis.
- Resolve payroll problems (e.g. funding, payroll payments, etc.)
- Answer employee questions concerning payroll.
- Assist in payroll audits and ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes.
