Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PAUT & TOFD Engineer to join our team at NDTS India (P) Limited. As a PAUT & TOFD Engineer, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) techniques. This is a full-time position located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in the field.
Qualifications and Skills
- - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- - Certification in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) techniques.
- - 1 to 3 years of experience in PAUT and TOFD inspections.
- - Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASNT, ISNT, ISO, etc.).
- - Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software.
- - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- - Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- - Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Roles and Responsibilities
- - Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) inspections on various materials and components.
- - Follow standard testing procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- - Interpret and evaluate test results, and prepare detailed reports.
- - Collaborate with clients and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
- - Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- - Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- - Stay updated with the latest developments in PAUT and TOFD techniques.
- - Assist in training and mentoring other NDT technicians.
