Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Patent Prosecution with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent prosecution and a passion for innovation and technology. As a Patent Prosecution, you will work with a team of attorneys and agents to manage patent portfolios and to advise clients on patent-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Draft and file patent applications with the Indian Patent Office
- Conduct patentability searches and prepare opinions
- Respond to office actions and other correspondence from the Indian Patent Office
- Manage and maintain patent portfolios
- Assist with patent litigation matters as needed
- Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to identify potential patent opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with changes to patent laws and regulations in India
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- 1-3 years of experience in patent prosecution
- Registered Patent Agent in India
- Strong understanding of Indian patent laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
