The End User Services Manager is responsible for providing coverage of automation layer essential for streamlining EUC service Delivery. This role involves assessing the current EUC delivery methods for Build, Update Management in the EUC service area and optimizing it with automation layer using known developer tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities: 1.SCCM Management and Administration : - Deploy, configure, and maintain the SCCM environment, including managing infrastructure, permissions, and boundaries. - Oversee the design, deployment, and management of SCCM clients, ensuring compliance and troubleshooting deployment issues. - Handle software deployment, update management, and OS deployment using SCCM. - Manage SCCM reporting, including generating reports for patch compliance, software inventory, and asset management.
2.Patch Management and Software Distribution : - Plan and deploy software updates across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices using SCCM and Intune. - Manage and troubleshoot patch compliance, addressing failed updates, and ensuring systems are kept up to date. - Coordinate with other IT teams to test and approve updates in controlled environments before organization-wide deployment.
3.Automation and Scripting : - Utilize PowerShell or other scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency. - Create and manage custom scripts for inventory reporting, deployment automation, and configuration management.
4.Monitoring and Reporting : - Generate and analyze reports for inventory, compliance, and deployment success rates. - Monitor SCCM and Intune dashboards to proactively address issues and ensure high availability.
5.Stakeholder Management: -Work closely with IT teams, including desktop support, network administration, and security, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive support. - Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure IT services align with business objectives. - Liaise with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and optimize end user services.
Essential Skills: - Strong knowledge of SCCM (Current Branch), Intune, Windows PowerShell and related technologies. - Proficiency in Windows Server and Active Directory. - Understanding of IT security practices and regulatory compliance. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. - Driving alignment by building effective partnership with stakeholders across global markets - Adopt to our complex EUC solutions and architectures. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring innovative improvements. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-Technical stakeholders.
