Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be working closely with various Mavlers project teams to ensure the successful testing and delivery of our Salesforce solutions and managed campaign services work. The candidate should have strong technical skills, the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to leverage their experience in the modern software development life cycle.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Employ your clear understanding and knowledge of QA Concepts, Methodologies, and Testing Techniques to perform testing on all assets and programs before they are deployed to production.
- - Employ a combination of both Manual and Automated Testing techniques based on the project requirements.
- Use your strong SQL background to write complex SQL queries based on required test scenarios.
- Write and maintain automated tests to support regression and health check testing.
- Be comfortable and able to QA campaigns and programs built on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including but not limited to API testing, Automation Studio ETL processes, email/SMS Journeys, preference centers, engagement, and cloud pages.
- Test backend database ETL processes in different environments.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
- Manage QA risks and mitigation plans.
Required Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong Experience with Cloud Technologies, specifically Salesforce.com and Pardot.
- Strong experience working with large and complex data sets and SQL.
- Strong background in Test Case and Test Script development.
- Experience with Project, Time, and Risk Management.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies.
- Team Player with Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills (Written and Verbal).
- Strong Work Ethic with a Positive Attitude and a Passion for Quality Assurance.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Excellent Time Management Skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Testing Tools (QASE, HP ALM, etc).
- Experience with ETL tools (Informatica IICS, DataStage, SSIS, Talend) and testing ETL/ELT/API processes.
- Experience in at least one of the following RDBMS: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Salesforce SOQL.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Software Testing, Software Quality Assurance.
- University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or Equivalent Experience.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or Marketing industry is considered an asset.
