The teaching assistant will be responsible for teaching and training students in the medical laboratory technician program. This includes delivering lectures, conducting practical demonstrations, and overseeing laboratory sessions to equip students with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills for a career as a medical lab technician or operation theatre technician.

Qualifications & Experience for Teaching Assistant (MLT):
- Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, Medical Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a medical laboratory technician or similar programs.
- Strong knowledge of medical laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality control practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and deliver effective lesson plans and hands-on laboratory exercise.
- Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment, software, and information systems.
- Registration/certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) is preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment is an asset.
