Outsourcing & Offshoring Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of sourcing professionals in the O&O category.
• Develop and implement category-specific sourcing strategies.
• Ensure effective collaboration with lead buyers, stakeholders, and category experts.
• Utilize leading practice guides, market intelligence resources, benchmarks, price databases, and PBI dashboards to make informed sourcing decisions.
• Apply category management knowledge to real-world use cases.
• Oversee the use of RFX templates, contract templates, and negotiation protocols for successful negotiations and eAuctions.
• Foster a culture of efficiency, digital innovation, and customer-centricity within the team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the sourcing, outsourcing, or offshoring category.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, outsourcing, or offshoring.
• Experience in managing a team of sourcing professionals.
• Experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
• Strong understand of procurement of IT services like Application Development and. Maintenance Services.
• Strong understanding of category management and sourcing best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience with procurement systems and digital tools for sourcing and procurement.
• Ability to work in a globally connected and locally anchored environment.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
