An OTM (Oracle Transportation Management)/GTM (Global Trade Management) Consultant/Developer is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle's OTM and GTM solutions to streamline supply chain, transportation, and global trade operations. This role involves collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure the systems meet business needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and Configuration:
- Configure OTM and GTM applications to meet business requirements for transportation planning, execution, and global trade compliance.
- Design and implement workflows, business rules, and data integrations.
- Solution Design:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design end-to-end solutions within the OTM/GTM platforms.
- Define and optimize transportation and trade processes.
- System Integration:
- Develop and manage integrations between OTM/GTM and other enterprise systems such as ERPs (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP) and third-party logistics systems.
- Utilize APIs, XML, and middleware tools to enable seamless data flow.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop custom reports and dashboards using OTM/GTM reporting tools.
- Provide insights and analytics for decision-making in transportation and trade operations.
- Testing and Validation:
- Create and execute test plans, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing, to ensure solution quality.
- Validate OTM/GTM configurations and integrations for accuracy and performance.
- Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support for OTM/GTM applications, addressing incidents and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Training and Documentation:
- Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and technical teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, workflows, and integrations.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure OTM/GTM solutions comply with regulatory and trade requirements, including customs compliance and trade documentation.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in transportation and trade management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle OTM and/or GTM configuration, implementation, and support.
- Strong knowledge of transportation and trade management processes, including routing, planning, and compliance.
- Experience with OTM/GTM data model, workflows, and business rules.
- Proficiency in technologies like SQL, PL/SQL, Java, XML, and web services.
- Integration Knowledge:
- Familiarity with middleware tools (e.g., Oracle SOA, MuleSoft) for system integrations.
- Experience integrating OTM/GTM with ERP systems and third-party applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Certification in Oracle OTM/GTM or related tools.
- Experience in supply chain or logistics consulting.
