We're looking for an experienced OSP Design Engineer to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop OSP (Outside Plant) network architecture, including both aerial and buried systems.
- Oversee the planning and design of FTTx networks, including route feasibility studies and addressing within distribution areas.
- Manage all aspects of the design process, including scoping, tasking, permitting, and creating detailed workprints for AT&T Switched Ethernet (ASE) or Light Gig (LG) F1 F2 projects.
- Execute Excel macro tasks for fiber count assignments, design quality control, and Bill of Materials (BoM) calculations
- Maintain project timelines, control expenses, and ensure adherence to quality standards and company directives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of 2- 7 years in OSP network design and planning.
- Proficiency in BSTCAD/ARAMIS and familiarity with AT&T tools.
- Strong ability to analyse field survey data and convert it into actionable designs.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
