PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Parts production planning, Execution & Tracking of power plant Parts orders from order intake to delivery at customer end Ensure the meeting of the delivery requirements of customers with quality demands & planned cost within the framework of policy and guidelines of SL with the objective of achieving and exceeding the business goals.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Order Planning:

  • Techno- commercial review of received orders wrt to tender offer and informed concern stakeholders wherein discrepancies.
  • Planning, execution & controlling of capital parts orders as per customer requirements (quality, cost and delivery) and actively participation with localization team for localizing of capital parts.
  • Coordination with engineering for release of Order BOM wrt customer order
  • Coordination with supply chain team for delivery requirements /Procurement philosophy
  • Preparation of execution schedule (PERT/GANTT) comprises of Engineering, purchase, quality and manufacturing activities and ensure the completion of order as per planned schedule as per quality norms and within planned costs.
  • Identifying the critical path of the schedule and inform to the concern stakeholder/management in case of any slippage with deliverables.
  • Planning of domestic & international logistics inclusive of site survey wherever required, coordination with EXIM and central logistic team wherever international transactions are involved

Order Execution

  • Coordination with Data Management for creating material master and uploading in Sale order in spridon as per BOM hierarchy
  • Coordination with all relevant stake holders in case of any clarification wrt to order BOM
  • Coordination with supply chain team, vendor and customer to complete the vendor registration process as and when required
  • Execution of Capital parts orders as per customer requirements. Tracking of Parts orders in terms of deliverables.
  • Monitoring of all the PR released as per Order BOM and maintained the records
  • Coordination with supply chain team for on time conversion of PR -PO
  • Coordination with all relevant stake holders (Engg./Customer/Supply chain team/quality etc) for strictly meeting the delivery requirements.
  • NC and customer complaint management
  • Execution and controlling of order as per the customer PO requirements
  • Preparation of frequent revenue forecast plan and chasing for the same
  • Emerge as the first and preferred point of contact for customers for QAP approvals, communications, status updates and notifications for interim/final inspection as per order.
  • Release of production orders through spridon and its closing of the same on assembly completion and coordination with factory assembly team.
  • Coordination with store, quality and supply chain for GRN clearing
  • Issuance of Delivery note to stores team.
  • Coordination with commercial for releasing dispatch documents
  • Coordination with store, logistic for delivery to customer site and inform customer for the dispatches.
  • Should be willing to travel at customer/vendor premises/sites (Domestic and International)
  • Conducting and updating the lesson learnt meetings and records
  • Techno- commercial closing of customer order in spridon
  • Managing the documents as per ISO requirements and attending the audits

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • B.E / B.Tech. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from reputed college
  • 6-8 years of experience in Heavy engineering industry
  • Preferable knowledge of Large Steam turbine/similar kind of industry
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Inclination towards new learning and good team player
  • Good knowledge of material and planning module of Spridon or other similar ERP packages
