Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Oracle WebLogic professional at BYNATREE DATA SOLUTIONS. The role involves overseeing the Oracle WebLogic servers, managing system performance, troubleshooting issues, implementing security measures, and ensuring system reliability.
Oracle WebLogic Support and Deliverables
Support Ongoing: WebLogic Server Administration
- WebLogic Server Support includes WebLogic Server startup and shutdown
- Extending support for critical and escalated issues w.r.to database & WLS.
- Configuring weblogic domains, performance monitoring & tuning,
- Deploy Applications (*if any)
- Installing weblogic patches, service packs etc
- Applying utilities like WebLogic Admin, WebLogic Deployer etc,
- Troubleshooting of JAR, EAR, WAR etc
- Troubleshooting WLS performance issues, monitoring application
- Server services and resources
- Support WebLogic Smart Update, Weblogic console Administration,
- Monitor Server health & performance, High availability, Load balancing, scalability etc.
- Supporting Weblogic issues, reviewing logfiles handling escalation,
- JVM bugs, Security Fix etc

Monthly
Look for Harmful Growth Rates
- WebLogic Server patch apply help.
- Ad-hoc WebLogic Server performance tuning help
- Participate in DR drill, if any Reporting
- Monthly status of the health of the WebLogic server.
- Quarterly status for measurement and conformance to the Service Level Agreement

Archive all old Logs to history
Monitor Log Trace files
Daily WLS Activities
- Daily Procedures
- Verify WebLogic Servers are up and running
- Look for any new WebLogic Server log entries
- Verify resources for acceptable performance
- Verify free space in application server's binaries folder
- Processes to review contention for CPU, memory, network or disk resources
