Job Description:

SeniorDatabaseAdministrator(DBA) is responsible for design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of client'sdatabasemanagement systems and data platforms, ensuring that all systems are performing at an optimal level. The individual in this position is responsible for implementing processes that adhere to timelines, application expectations, and quality standards, as well as participating the coordination ofdatabase-related responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the installation, administration, maintenance, monitoring, technical support, andresolution ofdatabase-related issues, includingdatabaseintegrations.

Serve as asenior-level technical expert fordatabase-related issue resolution.

Participate in the creation, revision, and execution of planned tasks, including identifying resourcerequirements, performing task review, and escalating appropriate non-functional and technical issues.

Skills Set Required:

. Must possess exceptional planning, and technical skills to diagnose problems in an environmentwhere priorities are constantly shifting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Ability to document associated programs and integrations.

Ability to work on small-to-complex projects that require skills in multiple technical environments.

Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.

Need to have working knowledge in AWS Aurora PostgreSQLDatabaseAdministration,Oracle.

Prior experience in bi-directional replication using Golden Gate, Qlik or similar tools.

Experience with cloud applications/systems

Competence with Linux, SQL, and PL/SQL

Ability to lead upgrades, clones, backups, and conversions.

Migration fromOracleto Postgres using AWS schema conversion tool or ora2pg

Strong performance tuning skills in Postgres SQL

UnderstandingOraclePLSQL code to convert to Postgres SQL

Technologies Required:

AWS Aurora PostgreSQLDatabaseAdministration,Oracle, Golden Gate, Qlik or similar tools, Linux, SQL, and PL/SQL

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology or related field
